The story behind the work
About this work
This is a portrait of two people who fell in love, married and made a life together.
He adored her and she was ecstatic during their wedding night. Then COVID hit and one of them died.
They were a happy couple, cherishing the beauty of nature; we give them flowers and honour their commitment by capturing that moment during their wedding night, that nearly puerile kiss on the cheek in a moment seen by everyone, but understood as a harbinger of an intense feeling of belonging to each other.
